Ohio Small Business Development Center

The Ohio Small Business Development Center for Butler County is located at the BizTech Center with a satellite location at the City of Middletown Department of Economic Development. The SBDC provides no-charge assistance and one on one confidential consulting services for existing and startup businesses.

* The Small Business Development Center Program of Ohio is a funded program of the Ohio Department of Development and the U.S. Small Business Administration. The support given through such funding does not constitute an expressed or implied endorsement of any of the cosponsor(s)' or participant(s)' opinions, products or services. David Riggs, Director and Business Advisor

SBDC Director and Business Advisor, David Riggs consults with companies on behalf of the Ohio Small Business Development Center for Butler County. As a previous owner of three successful companies dating back to 1983, David understands how to take a business idea and make it a success story.   With a key focus on Business Plan Development, David assists clients in creating legitimate Financial Projections. He is a Certified Business Management Trainer and Workshop Facilitator.   Key achievements include recognition as "Business Mentor of the Year" by the State of Ohio SBDC Network and as a recipient of the State of Ohio "Business Mentor of the Year" for Business Development.

Mark Lankford, Business Advisor, Ohio Small Business Development Center

 

Mark Lankford, Business Advisor

SBDC Business Advisor Mark Lankford brings extensive business experience and knowledge to clients of  the Ohio Small Business Development Center, including BizTech clients and areawide companies. Mark has owned several successful businesses, whose client list has included P&G, AT&T, and Mercantile Stores to name a few. He has served as a leasing consultant and a computer instructor and has a background in radio, television and film.
